Austin Werner
Austin Werner is a respected financial leader with almost 20 years of experience in commercial banking, financial services, sales and management. Prior to Magnus Oak Capital, Werner was a Vice President at Bank of Texas, where he was responsible for originating, managing and growing a portfolio of commercial loans and treasury products for small private companies. Prior to Bank of Texas, Werner was accountable for similar responsibilities as Vice President at Wells Fargo. During his banking career, Werner originated or managed over $150 million in loans or related products. Werner also structured loans at Dell and served as a financial adviser for Ameriprise, where he ultimately managed over $25MM in clients’ assets. Werner holds an M.B.A from the University of Houston and B.B.As (Business\Spanish) from Southwestern University.

Gabriel Zamora
Gabriel Zamora is an accomplished strategic and financial leader with almost two decades of broad-based work experience, spanning both complex Fortune 500 organizations and start-ups. Prior to Magnus Oak Capital, Zamora worked as a Finance Manager for Cobalt International Energy, an energy private-equity start-up backed by Goldman Sachs, where he directed multi-million-dollar project financings and managed critical finance operations. Prior to that role, Zamora was a Commercial Manager and oversaw key strategic and financial planning efforts at Cobalt. He was a core member of the team that completed the then largest IPO ($1B) by a United States E&P company. Prior to Cobalt, Zamora was a project manager and consultant for Cap Gemini consulting, formerly Ernst & Young management consulting, where he worked for diverse clients on mission-critical strategic and IT projects. Zamora is a member of the Advisory Board and former Executive V.P. of Houston Area Parkinson Society. Gabriel holds an M.B.A from the Wharton School and a B.S.M.E. from the University of Texas at Austin.
